Comic Market 78 Day 3 Continued

Sorry, about the delay.  I have had some family come in from out of town, and I was being a tour guide.  Now, that I have some time though, I will go ahead and start putting up some more posts!

Finally, a character that I can recognize.  Here is the famous YUKI MORI, from Space Battleship YAMATO.  WOOHOO!!! Finally a person that I can actually tell who she is cosplaying.  I hope that I'm not wrong.  Great work to the cosplayer, and more to come!

Comic Market C78 Final Day Continued

As promised, here is some more.  I am annoyed, I actually realized how much ANIME is out there that I don't know.  Here is yet another example of a show/game/graphic novel that I am not aware of.  This really does bug me, and I didn't ask because there were so many other people there taking photos.  I really do wish that I had the time to.  Other than that this event was cracking.  Funny thing is, and I don't know if I mentioned it before, but I didn't even get to the main place for cosplayers this day.  I just stayed in the little area at the convention centered and took all these.  Again, if you know who they are cosplaying, please shed some light on it for me.  Thanks for taking a look!

Comic Market Day 3 The Cut

花兎まにゅ
So, again, I hate to say it, but it is another cosplayer that I am unaware of what she is cosplaying.  Although it looks great, and she did a wonderful job of posing, I have no idea who she is supposed to be.  I wonder if it is from a game?  Well, if anybody out there knows, please let me know.  Apparently, this cosplayer is actually somewhat famous in Japan.  She has a photo book and DVD line available.  Her stage name is: Hanausagi Manyu.

If you are interested please check her out, and support her.  I had no idea that she was actually famous, until I saw her at her table inside the convention.  If you are wondering, she was promoting her new DVD.  I cannot for the life of me remember who she was cosplaying in the new video.  Enjoy!

Comiket 78 Day 3 The Cut

First Part of Many!

So!  It has been quite some time since my last post, and many things have happened.  I'm still attending classes full time, and I am also trying to keep up with my photos and Japanese.  I do apologize about the delay for these photos.  I have found a place that I can place my photos without any real limit.  I noticed that I did run into a few more issues with the popularity of the photos of my last post.  Because so many people were viewing the photos I ran out of bandwidth, as many of you have noticed.

I have decided to keep the photos to a minimum now, and will just make more post.  I have plenty of photos to share on this last day at the convention.  It was that last push of most the cosplayers, and I wanted to capture all of it.  Later, I will post some personal photos that were just done on a small Canon IXY camera.  I hope that you can enjoy these.

This first post was of a maid, in which I am ashamed that I forgot what anime/manga/eroge/game she is from.  These were the first photos taken of the day, and although these are not my favorites of the day, she does deserve her time to be posted.  The wind was strong and her hair (and costume) were blowing all over the place.  Her facial expressions show the discontent of the wind, but the outfit looked great!

Comiket 78 Day 2

Well, it has been a little longer than a week now, but I have finally completed it!  The second day of Comic Market 78, is finally done! After experiencing the first day, I kind of knew what to expect.  Therefore, I was ready this time and was able to get a TON of photos !  I was well prepped and had everything ready.  I didn't get stopped by the staff this time, and no explanations about what equipment I was not alowed to use.

This was a real fun day and I was able to meet up with a friend from San Jose as well, and we had lunch together.  There was soo much to see and do, just getting all these photos together was quite a chore.  If you want to see the whole collection, because there are about one to two hundred more, then click on the title or HERE!
