Arakawa Under the Bridge

Arakawa-10

This was one of those couples that I was not used to seeing.  I really had a hard time recognizing who they were.  It was one of those deals, where I didn't even know a starting point on my brain to scratch.  If you haven't read the manga, or seen the anime/live action, I would recommend it.  It is quite funny, although if the characters in it are apparently not that memorable.

These two are Kou Ichinomiya and Maria.  They live under a bridge in the Arakawa district of Tokyo.  Thus the title of the anime.  Hope you enjoy the photos!

Jill Valentine

Jill-1

I cannot believe that I have not posted these photos yet.  They were done so long ago!  This model is Liz "Dead Pepper", she did the Hanekawa Tsubasa from Bakemonogatari (Monster Story) as well.  Liz is so great to work with.  She was extremely patient as well.  This site for the photos was not the most strobe friendly.  The windows were just too brutal.  Liz just hung around whilst I fiddled around with the lighting for what seemed days.  Thanks LIZ!  Support her and check out her Deviant Art page!

If you cannot tell, the unit that is attached to her chest lights up!  The costume was just so well done!  Such an awesome seamstress!  Well done Liz!  I hope to shoot with you again soon.  Sorry about the wait!

Lineage II

Lineage-18

Again, it has been far too long since my last post.  I have just been so busy with a recent job change, family vacation on the east coast, and moving from the suburbs to the city.  That last one being a huge deal, because I still do not have internet where I am currently residing.  Although, it does help with the fact that I am still learning what to do at work, and the amount of books that I am reading is increasing.

I have just a few more of the Fanime 2012 photos to post.  Also, I am trying to get more camera time and more photos to post, but have been too busy lately.  Lately, I have been looking for locations that can be shot at while now living in SF.  There are plenty, and come summer 2013, I hope to have plenty of models to shoot.  For now though, here are some ladies costuming characters from the lineage series.  Hope you like them.

X-23

X23-18

WOW!  Has it been a long time.  Between trying not to get fired, moving, getting another job, and planning out a trip to the east coast, it has been HECTIC~!  It has been nearly a quarter of a year since my last post, and although I have been looking at the site every now and then, I am ashamed that I have not been able to pick up a camera, edit any photos, or work on either web blog that I have.  Life has been just to crazy, and I thought my university days were packed.

Here are some photos from Fanime 2012.  I know that it was ages ago since I took them, but the models did such a wonderful job it would be such a shame not to show them off.  I still have a few more groups of photos, but am in the middle of moving from the East Bay (CA), to San Francisco.  It has been hard and time consuming, but hopefully now that I'm moving to the city, I will be able to have more time to set appointments and take more photos.

I cannot remember much from these shoots, other than they were fun and I met with a ton of awesome people.  X23 (X-Men) was being portrayed by Rochelle Anne, quite popular on the net, just 'google' her.  Again, the costume was really well done.  If you notice the claws/blades from her feet, they are actually magnetic and she can pull them on and off as she pleased.  Really ingenious!  Hope you like the photos, and thanks for sticking with me!
