Yoko's Back

She's back!  Looking tougher than ever!  As I said before, this is one of my favorite costumes to shoot.  I would like it to be changed up every now and then, but the cosplayers are always good to shoot.  When I say change up, I mean the maid version, or the teacher version would be cool to shoot to.  As said before though, the original is never bad.  Although, the hair was giving us a little difficulty... sigh....

Special thanks to Cassandra H, for all her help with the lighting.  Also, thanks to the model, and her overseer.  To protect her from unwanted booty shoots...  Enjoy!

Yoko Littner

Of all the characters that I can shoot, this is definitely one of my favorites.  I mean who can not like Yoko?  I do wish she had her rifle, but as the saying of beggars goes...  If you haven't seen Toppa Tengen Gurren Lagann, then I highly recommend it.  It is by the makers of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gainex.  If you don't know about Evangelion... then you must not like anime. J/K, but really check it out. 

The cosplayer was easy to work with and knew these poses really well.  She just seemed to move the right way at the right moment.  I really do hope to work with her again!  Hope you like the photos!

Venture Bros. Preview

A quick preview of what's to come.  Who doesn't like the Venture Bros.?  Seriously, isn't it one of the best cartoons made here?  There is more to come so keep coming back!  By the way, if Mrs. Dr. Monarch looks familiar, check out the Babydoll and Yoko Littner posts from Fanime 2011.  Thanks for looking.

Toppa Tengen Gurren Lagann's Yoko Littner

Here is the long awaited Yoko Littner!  Walking around Fanime, I was amazed to get some time (actually a lot of time) with Kee (A.K.A Havocluver).  I was able to meet another member of her group (Pretty Geeky Girls, or PGG) again this time too!  Whilst setting up, I was talking and going over what my ideas were, and asking for their opinions and got a pretty warm response.  I'm very hopeful that I will be able to meet up with the group this September for SacAnime and get some photos!  Plans have been drawn and there are a lot of costumes to have photos taken of! If she looks familiar, it is because she was also the one that did Babydoll from Sucker Punch!

Actually the only complaint that I have from this shoot, is that I like too many of the photos and had/have trouble choosing which ones to post.  There will be quite a few that I'm posting because of that!  Hope that you enjoy them!

~ Post Script -  Although she doesn't have her rifle in these photos (it wasn't quite finished yet), we plan on meeting up again and getting the shots with her rifle~!
